Bright's Rescheduled Birthday Celebration

An Uninvited Guest

I haven't posted pictures from Brighton's other third birthday party because that party hasn't happened yet. I took the day off Friday to be with Brighton, and he woke up from his nap with a high temperature. We sadly canceled his party. Saturday evening his fever really spiked, so we ended up taking him to the emergency room. So at this time, this is the most memorable part of this third birthday weekend.Thankfully it's nothing serious, they ran some tests, and suspect it's just a nasty virus.

Rescheduling his birthday party is currently in the works. For his sake, I'm hoping we're able to pull that off soon.

So our house is still decorated and ready for some major celebrating, but this virus was not one of our invited guests.

Almost a Garden

All of sudden it's garden planting weather. We hope to finish up and plant in the next week or so. All of our plants are looking good except the lettuce grew a little too fast and got tangled with the other plants. Lettuce will do just fine from seeds when we plant, so it's not really a failure at this point. I'm not going to stress about that one. We have some other seeds we're going to try in addition to these plants as well.
Hoping we can show a planted and good-lookin' garden real soon.
