Winter Wonderland...FINALLY

We were finally able to enjoy some snow this past weekend!  Yahoo!

 

 

We Really Don't Like our Dishwasher But We Really Love Her

Tilden is something else lately.  She is into EVERYTHING.  I find myself saying daily to Jon, "Do you remember Brighton ever being this way?"  We can't determine if we forgot, or if she really is a stinker...maybe both :)

Once she climbed up into the dishwasher, we looked at her and almost snatched her out immediately as most parents would do.  Not the Walcotts.  I paused to snap a quick picture, and Jon said it would be great if she actually broke the dishwasher.  We really don't like our dishwasher.  And don't worry Dad, we washed her hands.

Eleven Months

At Least There's Ice

It is this family's opinion that if it's going to be cold there might as well be snow, but that hasn't been the case this holiday break. We had big plans to sled, snowmobile, and snowshoe. That will just have to wait until later this winter. But, we were able to go ice skating. It has been cold enough to freeze.  There is an outdoor rink a mile from our house which is super cool if you ask me. 
It was Brighton's first time hitting the ice. He has training ice skate with two blades under each foot; they just strap on to his own shoes.  He definitely needs some more practice, but he thought it was pretty cool, and so did this mama.
