Bye Bye to Summer

We just finished our cottage work weekend.  We packed up all the summer stuff. 
Before the boat disappeared though, the boys went wakeboarding one last time. 

We worked hard and played hard, so naturally Brighton feel asleep while helping Bapa drive the boat.  Fall fun is on the way, and we're already talking about snowmobiling.  Hope we have a few more opportunities to do that than we did last year.

Sit Still? Yeah, Right

 

Tilden is really great at scootin' backwards.  Everyday she moves farther and faster, and she isn't doing too badly moving forward now too.  This past week she disappeared on us while we were getting ready one morning.  We were all in our bedroom/bathroom; all of sudden Tilden was gone.  Jon really thought I picked her up and brought her somewhere.  She nestled herself in the back of our closet behind our clothes! 

How can she already be such a cute little stinker at 7 months?

The Run We Didn't Run

The Walcotts helped out at the Park2Park 5k and half-marathon last weekend.  The runners practically run by our house.  It's a local run that benefits a great local organization that we really care about.

The rain held off for us to complete our job, but it did start storming while some of our friends were finishing the half-marathon.  Now that's dedication! 
Maybe we'll run it next year?  I think I write that every year :)
