Gatorland

If it wasn’t for a recommendation from friends of ours at church, we would have never ventured out to Gatorland. It seriously ended up to be one of the highlights of our trip although you really can't tell by the picture above. Has anyone else been there? Oh my gosh! We saw so many HUGE alligators. We watched a couple of shows: Gator Wrestling and Gator Jumparoo. Jon and I even sat on a real alligator, plus I decided to pay $5 to hold a huge snake. It wasn’t something I was dreaming to do on spring break, but I thought when again will I have a chance to drape myself in a python – Gatorland is that place.

Sunshine, Swimmy Diapers & Suncreen

We're home from a fantastic vacation to Orlando. The weather was absolutely perfect for the entire week of Spring Break 2010. Not much time for sun tanning ourselves on this trip though, but that’s the way life goes for us now. We went through lots of sunscreen, swimmy diapers, and enjoyed lots of visits to the pool. Back to reality tomorrow, but more from our trip will be posted soon.

Right in our Backyard

We have a swing set...right in our backyard. Yipppeee! Lots of thanks to those that helped in the construction and especially to my husband in the many hours it took to put the thing together. The project started in the barn already this past winter; it was no small task. It's finally finished, and it's fabulous. The constant smiles and squeals of joy make it crystal clear that Brighton couldn't agree more.

He Didn't Learn This From Me

I really should have video of this because Bright's 4-wheeler moves slowly with the push of a button. His little fingers are holding down the button as he drives around the yard and driveway backwards. It was really funny and impressive actually as he covered quite a bit of distance. Where did he come up with this? Not from me that is for sure.
