When there's a heat wave after our LONG winter, we get...

...a necessary trip to Captain Sundae.  Oh, and lots of laundry.  I should have taken some close up pics of Til's mess.  

Beautiful night.  It was soooo nice, Brighton took his coat off and accidentally left it there.  Geesh.

Fun Night

Almost thirty years ago I went to Fun Night, an annual tradition at my elementary school.  I remember it as being spectacular.  Brighton now goes to the same school, and he just went to his first fun night. The tradition continues. Grandpa and Grandma tagged along because I was actually out of town at a mom's conference.  I love that Brighton included his little sister in a lot of the festivities.  As he explained, "Mom!  It's a bunch of fun, and it's at night, so it's Fun Night." Fun, for sure!

Double Whammy: Dinosaurs and Legos

The Grand Rapids Public Museum was understandably calling our name, especially the name of a certain five year old.  Special dinosaur and Lego exhibits we sure to be a hit.  We spread the word and were joined by some other family too.  Our kids don't exactly read signs or pause to really soak it in, but it is a really nice museum...even for little ones.
