Brighton did Basketball camp at Holland Christian High School; it was the first week of summer vacation.  He LOVED it!

Love her, but we should have left her

Brighton received free Whitecaps tickets for reading during the month of March (Reading Month).  We decided to head out as a family to a game on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  This would be a first for us.  And honestly, we won't do that again for a few years.  I didn't really think it through. Nap time.  Bright sun.  Heat.  Staying seated.
We had a great time, but we only made it a few innings...thanks to Tilden.  I should have just sent the boys.  That's what we'll do next year: guys outing. We love our little Tily, but she's not ready for a baseball game.

We Go Every Year

Every year we graciously get invited to the Bethany CRC Picnic at Teusinks' Farm. Every year we go, and every year we love it.  It's a kick off to the summer tradition. Both kids were into riding the ponies this year. Tilden is still talking about how she was a cow girl and rode her pony, Beauty. Yeehaw!
