First Semester Round-Up

We're snowed in for the fifth day now! (No school Thursday and Friday of last week. We stayed put this weekend too. Off today (Monday), and tomorrow is looking like we might be off again.)  We only went to church yesterday (that was extra special considering), so we've been doing lots of things we don't normally have time to do. As I type this, we have lego-shaped rainbow crayons baking in the oven.
Being half way done with the school year is a wonderful accomplishment. It is always something I silently celebrate as a teacher, but I look at that much differently now as I marvel in the growth of my son. Wow! Kids do really grow up so quickly. Here is a look back at the first semester of Brighton in Kindergarten (likely to only be enjoyed by family).  If you're snowed in like we are, we hope you are happy, healthy, and cozy warm.
