First Farm

We were invited to attend Bethany CRC's picnic last night at Teusink's Farm. Grandpa and Grandma Walcott, Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Nykamp, and the Nykamps all attend Bethany (along with lots of other wonderful folks). Bright LOVED his first visit to a real farm; it sure beats those Old McDonald Baby Einstein videos. As I'm guessing you can see from the pictures, it was an absolute joy to see the farm through Bright's eyes.

Walcott Weekend

This past weekend, the Walcotts did a family getaway. Despite the cooler temperatures, we had a great time. Everyone was around for at least part of the weekend. Kayaking, dirtbiking, dune buggying (don't think that's a word), fishing, playing in the sand - what a weekend!

Vay-Kay in GR

Last weekend we decided to go away the three of us. We wanted to do something fun and special, but close to home. We decided to stay overnight in Grand Rapids, and we filled our days with fun stuff. We had lunch on the porch at Rose's. We did John Ball Zoo and Meijer Gardens. We even squeezed in some shopping and swimming. I guess it's our version of a stay-cation, and we're huge fans.

Bright's One Year Pics
