Memory Maniac

Brighton is really loving the game Memory.  If truth be told, Mom and Dad are getting a bit tired of this new recent obsession.  Why?  It's not exactly a quick and easy game for starters.  But also, Brighton can legitimately beat us without too much trouble.  It comes so easily to him, and it doesn't come so easily to me.  Jon seems to do just fine.  It require a lot of focus; and I really have to dig deep.  This is not the case with other preschool games such as Candyland or Chutes and Ladders.  One of the pictures below is taken really early in the morning (you can tell by his hair).  Brighton woke me up early Saturday morning and told me it was time to play.

 

 

Serious Sledding

Tilden and Mama missed out on this one, but Jon and Brighton did some serious sledding this past weekend.  They traveled to a serious sledding hill, they went with other family members, and they even used the new Walcottt Toboggan. 

First Trim for Tilden

Auntie Jordan assured me that Tily really needed a trim to get rid of that scraggly baby hair.  I wasn't so sure, but she was right. She also assures me that she has Tily's hair under control, and I don't have to worry about it. In other words, Tilden's hair is Jordan's department. Thanks Auntie JoJo!

First time trim for Tilden was in the sink at the Raterink Cottage. 

Maybe next time we'll head to the salon?
