"Thank Goodness It's Thursday!"
The weekend arrived early this week, and I couldn't be more thankful.
I realize I've been "Missing In Action." Sorry! It's been really difficult lately to keep up. We did parent/teacher conferences at school. With Brighton now, those weeks are super tough. To top it off, Brighton is teething; we've got one week of it down. I'll be sure to post a pic of his invaded mouth soon...hopefully really soon.
Bright turned eight months old this week. He's quite the active "Little Stinker." He sits in his high chair and started eating what we've been calling "poofs." He occasionally gives kisses and waves good-bye, and he loves walking around the house with lots of help of course. He thinks its hilarious to whip his head back and forth as if he's saying no, but unfortunately he has no clue on that concept. He has an uncanny sense of what is off limits, so those interactions have now become part of our normal daily routine. He's starting to pull himself up on things, and this afternoon I found him sitting in his crib waiting for me after his nap. Teething and all, he's been super fun. We hope to catch some of these actions on video soon. We will for sure post it here if we are successful.

The deer were in and out of our backyard last night around supper time. They walked right across the frozen pond. I think Bright might have even seen them.
