Giant Fun

We had some fun on a giant slide and a giant pillow of air this weekend. When I say we, as you can see, it's Jon and Brighton, while I take the pictures. Can you see the glee on his face? Giant fun!

The First Major Ouch

Brighton is 16 months now, and he has started to run. The upper half of his body is typically ahead of his feet when he pumps up the speed. This results in quite a few stumbles, and in that regard, shorts and cement are not a great combo. Sadly, this is the first of many skinned knees, but thankfully he's pretty tough for a little guy.

Family Fun

We are certainly missing Mom & Dad Walcott, but even so, we gathered without them last weekend as a family. We had a lot of fun having burgers and playing outside.

It's All About the Honeycrisp

If you like apples, you probably know about Honeycrisp Apples. If you haven't had one, you should. There is nothing better in the sack lunch department than finishing it off with a Honeycrisp Apple. So saturday we headed out to Crane's Orchards in Fennvile along with loads of other folks from all over West Michigan. I've been told they're usually not that swamped, but again it's all about the Honeycrisp. We had a great time and picked nearly 90 pounds of apples.
